APTMM2B is made by Cheetahmounts, a well
known and respectable company manufacturing TV mounting
brackets. If you check out Amazon for these mounts, they really get good reviews, and that with good
reason.
First of all what drew me to this
particular mounting device was its different design that look really sturdy. And let's face it, it
needs to be sturdy in order to hold a huge and heavy TV such as a flat screen television. While its original price
hits $100, at Amazon it costs only $26.69, which is, let's face it, less than a dinner out for 2 on the weekend.
This is really one of the cheapest quality tilt mounts available on the market today.
The wall mount is built to last. It
is made of solid heavy duty steel. It has 2 horizontal and two vertical bars that are well placed on the board. It
is quite a small kit and while it is extremely sturdy, people have found that it also decreases shipping price,
using less materials. And of course if you are ecologically conscious, it also reduces material
waste.
 Another important aspect of it is that it is very easy to
install. It has all the screws and other mounting hardware needed to do the installation withiut having to buy
anything else. If you're completely new at it, it might take you up to 15 minutes to figure out what to do by
reading the instructions. Then it needs an additional of 10-20 minutes to install, and you're ready to watch
your new TV. Most people report that they were up and running with their new TV within 30 minutes of bringing
the new wall mount home.
As it is a tilting mount, it has
not full motion, but you can ajust the horizontal placement by sliding a couple of inches to the left or right. In
addition, while the mount specifications are not very clear on it, it also supports some up and down tilt, which is
a major plus in anyone's book.
Also you have enough space at the
back of the mount to be able to take care of any cabling or connectors. You can also put an extra power outlet and
data HDMI cable outlet if you want to have all those cables safely invisible from view.
